Welcome to Rat Records. We’re an indie music label with one foot in music and the other in pixel art and games. Dongu the Rat is a producer, pixel artist, and game developer; Gigi the Cat is part of the label’s musical world. Follow a track, explore a game, or pick up some artwork for your next project.
Meet Dongu the Rat and Gigi the Cat
Start with the music. Dongu the Rat’s artist page and Gigi the Cat’s artist page bring their releases together in one place. Put on a track while you game, build a level, or take a break from the screen.
Also check out other Artists we support like Clark Key and Shawn Isaac, whose music you’ll also find linked from our store.
Explore the pixel-art side
For game makers, Dongu’s Rat Packs are a way to explore the artwork beyond the characters on this page. The pack page has the current contents and usage terms, so you can check what fits your project before bringing anything into a scene.
You can also visit Medieval Pixel Arena on itch.io to explore another part of Dongu’s game-development work.

Thanks for stopping by. Pick a track and stay a while.
